Its not very often that I am impressed by a product. I was asked to make a 7 footer in nylon with my take on the type of bullwhip that Anthony DeLongis uses and has made so popular. It has a 13.5" handle and an extended transition area which is meant to look similar to that of the whip used in the Indy IV movie. It still needs a little finishing work, but here' my usual "test crack" video.

This is me doing a few wraps and cracks with my Dirk Adkins delogis whip. It seems like every nylon whip maker offers a delogis whip nowadays, but this one is, i guess, the only true delongis whip. That is because the first prototype of this whip was made for the whip master(Anthony De Longis) himself! After receving the whip Anthony told Dirk it was the most accurate nylon bullwhip he had ever used, and i couldn't agree more! The whip is 7ft. long, has a 14inch handle, shot core(for about 2/3s of the thong), 3 bellies, and a 16 plt overlay. The whips colors are rust with walnut knots. The coolest feature on the whip is the fall. It is made specifically for wraps, and from what i can tell it is a 3FT peace of unguted 550 cord with a 18inch sleeve of gutted cord cover the lower half of the fall. The result is a hevier, harder hitting, better wraping fall. All in all, i would highly recommend you give this whip(or any of Dirks whips) a try! It weighs 1# and I would not want to "hump it up the AT", but works great for weekend type hikes/camps where I have time to do some hobby work. small utility knife,Leatherman Juice,magnifying glass,leather lacing,piece of coat hanger,3 nails, thimble,beeswax,24gauge craft wire,zip ties,piece of alum. flashing,fine tip Sharpie,nails,awl,saddle stitch needles,30' waxed thread,hand forged scissors(can be re-sharpened),small piece mill file, small whetstone,bone awl,seamstress measuring tape,pieces of leather,pieces of canvas/nylon,safety pins,Singer sewing kit(7 large needles) with bobbin full of nylon upholstery thread, 6" steel rule(can be used as cutting guide). Note: in other parts of my gear I have duct tape and paracord.

This is an updated video for the finalized Knife Lanyard for Rocky Mountain Survival (www.rockymountainsurvival.com) This Lanyard had some specific requirements, it had to have about 12' of paracord (this one has right at 10'), had to be adjustable, needed to have a way to keep tension on the wrist, needed to fit in a knife lanyard hole that was barely big enough for a single strand of paracord. I wanted to add a neck knife to my collection and this model was recommended as a good starter. When you get the knife, you also get the case and a bit of 550 paracord. Modding this kit is extensive, you can do a lot to make this a mini EDC. It's smaller than I expected, but it is a heavy knife. It's a thick piece of metal. Another feature is the bottle opener and wire snapper. The bottle opener works well but make sur you have the knife in a case before you start holding the blade. I haven't used this knife to its full potential yet, I've haven't been in situations where I used it enough. 9 foot, 16 plait Custom Nylon Bullwhip Test Cracking

Here is a 9 foot, 16 plait bullwhip custom made for a local cowboy and leather craftsman named Jeremiah. This whip has a shot loaded core running the full length of the plaiting, multiple bolsters and is overlayed in: red, navy blue and black paracord. It features a 12 inch (Australian style) handle giving the user excellent leverage and control. Something special about this whip is that is has two falls. At 0:12, you can see the first fall is connected with a basic fall hitch. At 0:15, you can see the second fall attached via a "cowwhip style" fall hitch. Having two falls presents a few benefits, but the main two being: a better taper and not having to replace the fall connected with a traditional fall hitch as often. This whip was part of a trade between him and myself.

Hundeleine "Model Onkel" ;-) Anleitung, um eine geräuschlose, kostengünstige Hundeleine selbst zu fertigen. Der Vorteil gegenüber anderen Leinen ist, man benötigt kein Halsband und hat eine leichte Leine, die man gut in der Hosentasche verstauen kann. Tipp für alle, die die Hundeleinen mit dem Hirschhorn nicht so mögen und die etwas Geld sparen möchten! Um das Knoten etwas zu erleichtern empfiehlt es sich, die neuen Lederriemen vor dem Knoten etwas mit Lederfett zu behandeln. Natürlich kann man die auch prima aus einem Nylon-Seil machen. Die Knotentechnik bleibt gleich. Ich habe diese Leinen seit Jahren im Einsatz. Absolut praktisch und die Knoten lösen sich niemals. Ich erwähne eine Länge von 3,5-4 Metern. Allerdings habe ich die Leinen immer nur für Vorstehhunde geknotet. Bei kleinere Hunden empfiehlt es sich, diese etwas länger zu wählen.

This is a video I made on how to make a paracord bracelet. This is 550 Parachute Cord. Its the real military grade cord but you can use the cheap stuff that has like cotton or something in the middle of the nylon. The whole bracelet has about 9 feet total.
