Now Brazilian knife designer Flavio Ikoma takes this design challenge to the next step with his new Keydashi keychain knife. CRKT translated Flavio's custom design into the affordable production version you see here. The knife itself is a full-tang skeletonized piece of high-carbon 1.4116 stainless steel. The 2.0" blade is hollow ground on the right side to a full curved skinner profile with a Razor-Sharp edge and bead-blast finish. This is a versatile shape which is useful for hundreds of daily cutting tasks. Best of all, the knife alone weighs only 0.8 ounce, making it the lightest fixed blade we have ever produced. Flavio's genius comes through in the integrated design of the blade and handle, which allows a secure and comfortable grip that is rarely found in such a small knife. Two methods for carrying knives horizontally

Shown here are two quick and easy methods to set up tactical sheaths such that they will hang horizontally along the belt line. Advantages to carrying knives this way include ease of concealment, as well as a very quick and intuitive draw. The first method uses some nylon with plastic bits I don't know the names of. It makes for two easily adjustable belt loops. Pretty self explanatory, anyway. The second method shown uses a bit of string and the grommets/rivets to create some loops for a belt. This can be tightened by pulling the string, and if you were so inclined you could use a slidelock rather than a knot like I did, to ensure they all stayed nice and tight. Note that the string I used was just that, poor quality string, and better results would be had with some paracord or decent nylon cord. Song is called Prayers for Rain (J. Viewz Remix) by Bluetech
