3 Easy Steps to Repair that Gear

3 Easy Steps to Repair that Gear Video Clips. Duration : 6.62 Mins.

Fix gear on the cheap in 3 easy steps. It's always good to have a little needle and thread on you when visiting the backcountry. Shown in the vid is how to make a simple stitch job to repair some worn gear. While this might not be the most exciting vid you have seen (if it is you need to get out more), it demonstrates the technique/value of how to stitch. Shown in the vid is a Kelty Redwing 3100. However, the technique will transfer over into torn pants, shirts, camera case, etc. Possible substitutes for a needle and thread are a fishing hook and dental floss, inner strands of paracord (multiple uses).
